Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro Airport to Moshi	Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by our friendly team and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Here, you will have a briefing session where you will meet your guides and prepare for the climb. This evening, you can relax and get a good night’s sleep before the adventure begins.
Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut	Your 6-day Marangu Route Kilimanjaro climbing adventure starts at Marangu Gate, located at 1,870 meters. After registration, you will trek through the lush rainforest to Mandara Hut at 2,700 meters. This 4-5 hour hike introduces you to Kilimanjaro’s unique flora and fauna. Overnight at Mandara Hut.
Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut	On day two, you leave the rainforest behind and enter the moorland zone, trekking from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut at 3,720 meters. This 5-6 hour hike offers stunning views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Overnight at Horombo Hut.
Day 3: Horombo Hut Acclimatization	Day three is dedicated to acclimatization at Horombo Hut. You will take a short hike to Zebra Rocks or the Mawenzi Saddle to help your body adjust to the altitude. This day is crucial for your success in reaching the summit. Overnight at Horombo Hut.
Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut	Your journey continues from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut at 4,703 meters. This 5-6 hour trek through the alpine desert is more challenging but prepares you for the final ascent. Overnight at Kibo Hut.
Day 5: Kibo Hut to Summit and Back to Horombo Hut	The summit day starts around midnight. You will trek to Gilman’s Point and then to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters, the highest point in Africa. After reaching the summit, you will descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest and then continue to Horombo Hut. This day involves 13-15 hours of trekking. Overnight at Horombo Hut.
Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate	On the final day, you will descend from Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate. This 5-6 hour hike takes you back through the moorland and rainforest zones. At the gate, you will receive your summit certificate. Our transport will then take you back to your hotel in Moshi for your departure.
Departure Day	After a restful night in Moshi, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home or your next adventure. Reflect on your incredible achievement as you depart with memories to last a lifetime.
